In the beginning of the movie "Moonrise", I expected Sam to be troubled child. Knowing that his parents had died, my perception of him changed. During the movie, he seemed to be your typical "kid", I believe the other characters in the movie mistreated him because of the history of losing his parents. This movie taught me that children who are very hostile towards people, have a deep pain within them.
